Modun Resources Ltd is a company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange that is focused on the acquisition, development and mining of thermal and coking coal deposits in Mongolia.

Mongolia’s unique geology and geographical position ideally positions it to be a key coal supplier to the major markets of China, Japan and South Korea.

Modun currently owns or has options to acquire more than 3,450 hectares of exploration and mining licences throughout Mongolia.

Modun’s current exploration target for its licences is 200-300 million tonnes of coal resources and the current strategy is to grow the portfolio of licences to more than 500 million tonnes.
